Well Easter came and we went hunting… our egg hunt took us up Seefin on the Ballyhouras on a damp and windy morning… and we even spotted some Easter lambs..

Cailleach Beara Loop
Just across the county bonds….. We had a day out with a great hike on the Cailleach Beara Loop in the Bonane Heritage Park.
It starts on country lanes to paved access roads and then cross country but is way marked and easy to navigate. There are great views to the south of Bantry Bay and north to Kenmare. The trail comes close to the Caha Pass where you can see the arches over the road way. It’s a great 11km Hike with great thanks to Deirdre our Walk leader.
